We are experienced in assisting our clients to obtain and retain a zoo licence. If you have non-domesticated species on display to the public for more than seven days, in a 12 month period, this is the licence that is required. Alongside high standards of animals husbandry, there are conservation and education conditions that must be met and we can help advise you on how to comply.

If you have domestic species on display to the public as part of a business, you must have a licence under the Animal Welfare Act. We can help with the process and all the documentation required to ensure compliance is achieved and standards are maintained. If you keep dangerous wild animals privately, we can also advise on safety and compliance with this legislation.
This is a service which we are offering to vets who provide veterinary services to zoos, either whilst working in practice or as part of an onsite vet team, or private owners with wild and exotic animals.
Working with wild animals is challenging and there is so much that is not in the text book!
It can feel isolating and stressful to have the responsibility of providing these services therefore support is available either on an ongoing basis or more ad hoc for specific situations or challenging cases.
Face to face sessions via Zoom, support via emails and WhatsApp and a shared Dropbox folder for reference material and records of sessions would be included.

Feedback from vets who have worked with Sarah:
"Sarah’s 1-2-1 mentoring is a truly unique and amazing service. There is no stupid question and nothing you can't ask as this is a confidential chat. You can discuss individual cases or full heath care programmes for the collection, and she will help you to see the big picture."
"You have been beyond invaluable!"
